"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre" delivered a gripping episode on Thursday as Cassiopea (Solenn Heaussaff) made a heroic sacrifice to protect Mitena (Rhian Ramos). The New Gen Sang’gres, led by Terra (Bianca Umali), successfully trapped the Black Kambal-Diwas inside magical gems by uniting Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), and Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) in a strategic plan.

Meanwhile, Mitena confronted Zaur (Gabby Eigenmann), attempting to persuade him to surrender the powerful Esperanto weapon. However, her efforts were obstructed when Zaur prepared to attack; Cassiopea intervened by appearing through ivictus and took the fatal blow herself.

In a poignant moment before her passing, Cassiopea reconciled with her twin sister Mitena and expressed hope that her sacrifice would compensate for the hardships their parents had caused.

The confrontation escalated as the four Sang’gres confronted Zaur. During the battle, Zaur seized Deia as a hostage, revealing to the group that he is her father—a secret previously known only to Deia. Despite this revelation, the fight continued with Zaur demanding the gems in exchange for Deia’s safety.

Terra then used ivictus to rescue Deia, forcing Zaur to relinquish the Esperanto. Mitena promptly took control of the weapon and fatally stabbed Zaur. Before disintegrating, Zaur ominously vowed his return.

Following these events, Emre appeared to Cassiopea, instructing her to proceed to Devas to accept her new destiny.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre" airs every Monday through Friday at 8 p.m. on GMA Network, following "24 Oras." Viewers can also stream episodes online via Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
